Restaurant SALA was first opened in Berga in 1971 by Ramon and Montserrat, who are in charge of the restaurant’s dining room, whilst Miquel Marquez, Montserrat’s husband, is the master chef in the kitchen. Restaurant Sala started by offering traditional “mountain cuisine” with its strength based in the use of local produce, especially the locally found wild mushrooms, which, year after year have defined the essence of our house specialities. The restaurant has always been run by the family and they are proud to create a warm and comforting atmosphere for their guests. The restaurant caters for 45 people in the main dining hall and has a private dining room for small groups of up to 12. We are open Tuesday through Saturday for Lunch and Dinner. Sundays and festive days are open for Lunch and the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
